Bill is treated like visiting Royalty

On our way to the bar, the Vice President and General Manager recognizes Bill and calls his name across the lobby. He comes over and shakes hands with Bill and begins chatting him up. Bill introduces me to him and said my name was Giovanni. The guy looks at me shakes hands and is now probably thinking Bill daughter is hooked up with mobsters. Anyway, they have a friendly chat for about five minute when he invites Bill tomorrow night to have dinner with the owner and other designers of the resort. He said it is a once a year thing so he would love to have us. We took his card and Bill said can I get back to you on that because we are in a trip. He said sure handed us his private number and he went back to work.

I walked over to see what the availability of rooms if Bill wanted to stay the night. They had a room/loft available for $600 a night. I did not say anything to Bill at this point because I did not want to negatively influence him in case he wanted to stay at the resort and go to the dinner. We headed to the bar to talk things over....

You know anyplace Bill designed on a commercial level would have a great bar
