We needed today. I let Bill sleep late. I was up early feeling real tired from the long drive yesterday. I went out got coffee and some eggs. I picked Bill up some breakfast.
He was up but looking tired just laying in bed. I said, Bill how about we have a day we do nothing, he was all for it.
Bill and I spent the day just hanging out in/by the room. W sat on the balcony where Bill said he could sit all day and watch the coast. We saw seals sharing the water with people swimming. We listen to jazz, read our kindles, took a nap the walked around the town and along the coast at sunset then went for dinner.
A nice day and enforced the importance of not treating a trip like a military campaign. We had no objectives to secure. We just hung out an either had a day of no importance or great importance depending on your perspective.
